Birds in a winter setting

Birds in a winter setting was photographed by me back when I owned my craftsman cottage home in Clemmons, NC. I set up my camera at our front kitchen window which looked out at the big river birch and where the feeders were located. I very much enjoyed watching the bird activities and antics as they positioned for food.

One day we woke to this incredible frozen landscape where trees were covered in ice. The birds came in all shapes and species to dine on goodies set out for them.

What a great photo opportunity with our feathered friends. I hope you will enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.

Gary and I have moved to a new place recently and in the spring we will have finished the back garden construction. It’s a much smaller area but still we feed the birds and make a haven for them there. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. It is a labor of love for me.
