A lovely weaving of flax

A lovely weaving of flax at the Pioneer Museum in Staunton, VA. She was a graceful women and first beat the flax to remove the fibers. The spinning wheel hummed and made a clickety clack sound as her foot kept rhythm. You can hear her story and see more photos here,  And she removed the fibers from the flax
