Just Dogwood Blooms

Dogwood blooms don’t need explaining do they? But if you want to know the legend of the dogwood tree–visit my post about it HERE. They are just starting to bloom and seem to be slightly ahead of last year’s date of April 3rd. Keeping a blog journal is so rewarding as you see the bloom time change from year to year. Go see the link above and see the blooms from their start of lime green—to the full glory washed so brilliantly white. The folks around here use them as an ornamental landscape specimen and most of the time they aren’t too far from the house. Play the video under the slideshow as you view the slides.

Lent starts today–I hope the meaning of the season rest deep in your soul.
