Pitiful spring color

We have some pitiful color when spring comes calling.

Hard to find a tree worth looking at.

It’s subtle.

It doesn’t do anything to make North Carolina a place to visit.

I remember how beautiful it was around your neighborhood last spring.

  2. Haha! Although I admit that having grown up (in South Carolina) I was so accustomed to crazy shades of azaleas that I didn’t know what all the fuss was about when people from colder regions came to visit.

As a kid their value to me was finding a camouflaged place to hide Paas hot pink Easter eggs from my sister… 🙂
