The Very Grandness of an Azalea

When the light is just right, you can capture the azaleas behind the dogwoods. Spring in North Carolina is a photographers paradise.

The pink azaleas were especially pretty yesterday afternoon. All the Spring blooms have lasted a very long time due to the cool weather. This weekend it’s going to be 80. I doubt they’ll be this pretty tomorrow.

Nothing compares to our azaleas. Yes–Gail ( my neighbor) you have the same camera as me.

It’s really a shame that I have to look at this all Spring. Don’t you feel sorry for me?

My oldest son wants to open up a restaurant and so momma is fixing some samples of sweet tea and hot dog chili. The secret ingredient to my chili is Texas Pete sauce. I bet you wish you had some.

And while we are enjoying the day together, we’ll have to look at more of these……….

Azaleas are so beautiful, and you’ve captured them perfectly! They, and rhodies, are among my very favourites, both for their gorgeous colour and delicate blooms. 🙂
