The Tulip Girl

Isn’t that a cute garden accent? The little girl is sitting there lovingly holding her recently picked bouquet. Not far from her was another little girl leaning against a tree.

A tulips greatness is only partially orchestrated by nature. The rest is done by the gardener who has the vision to see where they should go.

She smiles at everyone who passes her way.

All is quiet here at the old folks home after a busy weekend with family. I should be able to catch up on all the wonderful comments and visits. Thank you all!

These are so pretty – love the little girls. I was just in DC and saw an amazing “Tulip Library” growing by the Tidal Basin. Alas, most of mine have been eaten by deer, but I do have a couple that seem to be in good hiding places. Belated Easter greetings to you and your family!
Happy belated Easter back at cha. Those deer are enemy no.1. I planted garlic chives in all my beds and hopefully that will discourage some of the deer from munching too much.

How charming. I love her colors. She looks perfect among the tulips.
She was born to be a Flowergardengirl….I wish she was mine.

Glad you had a good Easter and those ‘girls’ really add to the Tulips.
I kept humming that Tiny Tim song–Tip Toe Through The Tulips. I took Gail’s tulip pics that day too so it was tulips all over the place.

Your tulips are spectacular! Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
It was sunny and warm–perfect. I checked on the seedlings and they are growing like weeds. I hope they aren’t weeds. Hope you had a good day too.

Very cute tulip girl, and those tulips in the garden is just beautiful.
Hope you had a nice Easter!
I did…it was grand and the company was excellent. It’s nice to have grown kids. We had our grand dog too. She’s sweet and entertaining. She’s suppose to sleep in her kennel at night but she slept with grandma instead.

Very cute tulip girl and great tulips. We can’t grow them here but I bought some for Easter decorations. So cheerful they are. My crew headed out a while ago and I’m relaxing now for the first time in a couple of days. It’s so nice when they are here but nice to have the empty nest back, too. 🙂

I cooked a lot did you? I enjoyed it but now need to fire up on some of that caffeine to make it through the rest of the day. I’ve got my feet up and my puter in my lap–pure bliss.
