The cherry blossom is my favourite tree, my garden is not big enough to grow one but I love to see them along the roadways where the council had the foresight to plant lines of them years ago.
Sorry I haven’t been by your blog as the cold virus crud has been to visit. A most unwelcome guest! We too have a ton of cherries around our town. The blooms are just about as pretty on the tree as they are off. When the ground is littered with the petals, it looks like a snowfall in Spring.

I have several white cherry trees and can never decide between them and the pink. No wonder the Japanese rush out to view them every year.
Seriously!, I rush out to see my one that is just a baby right now. I’ll be glad when she’s all grown up.
