  1. I’ve never seen those growing. I may have to add them to my list of new plants to try.
Give them a go and tell me what you think!

I tried cleome for the first time last year, I’m hoping they did reseed. They stayed in bloom for a long time for me.
Some do and some don’t. Like the Spirit series will sometimes but the Senorita Rosilita will not reseed. I planted a common variety at my former home and boy did it spread. They were coming up everywhere. One grew out of the window sill and another in the gutter. Can you imagine a 5ft tall Cleome in the gutter? The house was not that old but I guess Cleome will germinate anywhere.

I’ve been looking at this particular variety! I just love Cleome even though they tend to happily reseed everywhere. 🙂
It’s a very long bloomer and holds itself up well. You’ll love it.

Those are lovely, one of my favorite annuals. Absolutely carefree, except they sting you when you try to pull the ones that go astray.

I don’t think my purples ones are as dark as those. I’ll look for Proven Winners next spring.

Yes, do look for them. Some sting and others don’t. I don’t remember the Rosalita doing that but my memory doesn’t work as well as it use to.
