List for the Gardening by Letter project!

Below is a list of gardening buds who signed up for the Gardening by Letter project. Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams was the first to sign up so she will get the first box of gardening letters sometime in March. I’ll email everyone my address so you can send the cards to me to forward on. I’ve been listing a few ideas for the project on my sidebar under Gardening Card Project. The only rule is that you must keep the card to a standard card size. You can put anything in the card that you like and I have listed a few ideas under the catagory above. You can not send food because it will not go through customs. Don’t send anything perishable or edible. Don’t send anything that will not cross the border. There is probably a list somewhere. I should figure that out huh?

I will close the registration on March 1st. I’ll keep a running list on this post of who has signed up. I will make the cut off at 24 people so no one person has to send more than two cards  per month to participate. The order is determined by sign up date. Jen signed up first and I’m always last. I will keep all addresses private unless you wish to include your return address on the envelope. I won’t be opening the cards but will be forwarding them. The project will run for one full year. March 2009 to April 2010. If enough people sign up then Jen will share March with Jodi. They will each get 11 to 23 cards. I made that as clear as mud didn’t I? If I forgot your name—forgive me and pass it along.

    Me especially!

I am first! Oh this is way too much fun, I love letters and am eagerly looking forward to both sending and receiving them. Thanks Anna, for starting such a cool idea. I am working on mine right now.

I know they are going to be awesome! I don’t mind doing it one bit and will enjoy hearing everyone talk about what they get.

Hi Anna – this is so exciting 😀

I just need to clarify the dimensions for your standard card size as we may have different sizes here in the UK!
Letter size or regular card stock. No larger than 8×8 or an 81/2 x11 letter folded and sent in an envelope to accommodate it. An inch or two in either direction will not be a big deal. I’m excited about this too. We gardeners are a sharing group so this is right down our alley.
