A Buttery Yellow House With A Red Geranium


Here are two of my favorites—a geranium sitting on a front porch with a buttery yellow house as a backdrop. And….a creeping fig flowing down from above. Notice the hurricane lamp and another lamp on the wall. Those little touches make it charming.


I am so attracted to a front gate and big front porch. I will be growing this creeping fig that is for sure! It is so graceful and lacy. It won’t overpower my front porch.

    That just works so well. Someone has a good eye there.
    You know that is my favorite picture from that trip. There is something so quiet and restful about that setting.
