Sometimes a fountain is for the benefit of hearing the water. But sometimes the drips that flow over the edges become the whole of the purpose.

I love fountains and that is a lovely picture – you caught the cascades so well.
Thank you and me too. I need to get all the fountains in my albums in one place. I have to search all over the place to find them one on my puter. I’m still organizing by color. I think fountains give a formal look. I don’t mind doing that in my cottage garden if it is the right fountain. They sure fit in nicely with the homes of Wilmington.

The sound of water in the garden really is a nice effect. I have one near my patio and it’s very enjoyable in the summer having coffee or ice tea out there.
I bet it is restful. I suppose I’ll get some sort of water feature in several years. I’d like to have one in the back with the cottage.
