As I was taking the pie out of the fridge, I felt the plastic lid shift. The acrobatic maneuvers that followed were funny but did not stop the pie from decorating my floor and cabinets.
That was an expensive pie. It was a Marie Calendar’s Key Lime pie. According to The Daily Plate calorie count, each piece is 340 calories. I figure that is about 5 pieces of pie wasted. I lost at least 2lbs with this little exercise by not eating the pie.
I drop things all day long! I dropped my new laptop on the floor last night as I moved it to a chair I was moving into. I dropped a glass this morning and it broke in the sink. And I just got back from dropping off my son at his boyscout meeting!!!!! (the pie looks yummy, well, it looks like it ‘might have been’ yummy…
That is a lot of dropping;) and I can relate. I am scared to death I’ll drop my new laptop. MrD would skin me alive. I messed up the old computer tripping over the cord. Those are expensive replacement parts.
I laughed when you said you dropped off your son!

We’ve all done that Anna. I dropped the coffee jar the other day and will be finding the tiny brown granules for weeks. Lime pie – never had that – sounds lovely.
I drop stuff all the time but this is a first for a pie. It was very sticky and traveled great distances. Key Lime Pie is awesome. It’s creamy, has a graham cracker crust, whipped topping, and lots of lime. It’s addicting.
I see you are buried in snow!! Keep the heat turned up. Did you find a new coffee pot? They can be hard to replace. Then you have to break them in. For some reason, every time someone mentions coffee, I have to go make some. I love the smell of it brewing.

Alas, I have done that more times than I would like to count. What a great new fad diet you could start. LOL.

I think it would be calorie free. That was a sticky mess. Sugar sticks to the hips and the floor.
