The Garden Craftsman

I searched for a picture today that heals yesterday’s poor judgement on my part. Here is a truck bed full of birdhouses made by a local craftsman. It symbolizes how I feel about our community of bloggers. We feed off the same ideas and bounce ideas off each other. We are grateful when finding a solution for our garden¬†dilemmas. We are inspired for our next post ideas. That’s how it should be.

I stop at curbside set-ups where a craftsman has taken up shop for the day. Do you do that? Here are some beautiful bird houses. The copper tops are perfect for Copper Top Cottage. They range in price from $50 on up. I love to find this sort of thing. We’ll be working on Copper Top Cottage this weekend. The copper roofing material is suppose to be in any day. There is enough siding to work on for quite awhile. Progress is happening!

I am so so sorry about yesterday’s post on theft of my blog material. The post took a direction that I felt might be harmful to some people so I removed all material associated with it. It is completely my fault and poor judgement on my part. Please forgive me and let’s move on. The person taking my stuff is an advertiser. They look to be a blog but instead they advertise other peoples ideas. I chose not to give the name for fear I could be sued. There is a case right now where a blogger is being sued over negative reviews of their site for their business. It’s a Dr’s office I think.

The blog that posted the review about a Dr’s office has been taken as evidence for the court case. Out of that fear and your safety so you wouldn’t be part of any legal battle…..I chose not to air the name. In this confusion, I was made aware that anyone who posted on watering cans was a suspect.

So I took down all the post associated with that post for the safety of all.

Here is the container idea that was stolen. Not the watering can–the container. Someone reprinted the idea almost word for word. They also took my idea on the little girl in the garden of good and evil. Here is the watering can post so you can see it. If you see if repeated then you’ll know it was my original idea. I do not mind one bit if you use it in any way. I put the idea out there so it could be used. What I didn’t like was that is was used to make money for someone else.

I am so sorry for the confusion. Big Hugs to everyone.

I’m glad to know it wasn’t anyone who is a real part of our blogging community. It’s really hurtful to put yourself into your writing and really share the essence of who you are, and then have it stolen for commercial or other uses.
It was awful but I have gone on. Lots of lazy people out there who are out to make a quick buck. From now on–they are going to be eating my dust as I blaze on past them. They can steal my ideas but they can’t create them.

  2. Hugs.
    Big hugs back at cha!

I read them too Anna and could tell how annoyed you were. No apologies necessary. You put so much of yourself into your posts you were right to say what you did.
Thank you so much Phillip. I’m glad you saw it that way.

You should have no apologies to make. I was able to read both of the posts before you took them down, and I feel you had every right to say what you said. Theft and plagerism are wrong no matter if it is done by a copy cat or an advertiser. I hope it never happens to you again.
Thank you so much as I sure did not want any harm done to the hard working bloggers out there putting tons of effort in to their blogging. Now it should be crystal clear what everyone is looking for should they come across it.
