Impressive Entryways From Yesteryear to Today

Wilmington Part 3

Front Doors Part 1

I am fascinated with the way a person wishes to express welcome with their front door. These are impressive entryways done in stately elegance and softly spoken. Each is unique and inviting. Please join me as we stroll together down the historic streets of the 1700s and 1800s homes of Wilmington, North Carolina.

A beautiful grouping of entrances and doorways, Anna. I wan to to go up and knock on all the doors or sit on the porch. It looks like a lovely community.

***Me too! And you can during their Christmas candlelight tour. There is a secret garden tour coming up in a few weeks. I don’t think I can make it back down though. Boo hiss

Hi Anna, Absolutely beautiful homes and front entry ways. I LOVE anything to do with photos that include doors and doorways… something very poetic about entryways…. and the ones you’ve shown us are my dream style home!!!! Loved the tour… thanks for inviting me along.

** I just knew you would like it. There are many here who can appreciate the hard work and commitment involved in the preservation. I was glad to take you along. Did you like the fudge? We all got a piece from the local ice cream shop. It was not fattening at all…not one bit….
