On my recent trip to Millstone Meadows Daylily Farm, I snapped this picture of a red rocking chair and vase of lavender. And I’m nuts about the framed picture of the rooster.
Making a front porch attractive is a work of art don’t you think? I’m working on a back porch makeover at my home. Can’t wait to show you. I’ll be working with April Cornell fabrics and featuring some new garden accessories from OXO and Dramm. The main color theme is aqua with hints of pumpkin and paprika—mingling with a few surprises. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so it’s taking me awhile to put it together. Hope you will be pleased. I promise it’s a color scheme you’ve not seen before.
This is certainly welcoming. The red rocking chairs, grey of the logs, and rustic atmosphere encourage you to linger a bit longer. I did. I wanted to sit there and watch the bees make a living.

Stay tuned…..my absence from blogging means I’m busy taking photos and visiting places to feature on my website here. Lots to see in NC

Millstone Meadows Daylily farm is so gorgeous, Anna. I am very excited to see the unveiling of your back porch. Aqua and pumpkin – what a fab combination. I think you should appear in Webster’s under the definition of passion.
